Hey there Herbalite!

I began my herbal journey way back in 2010 when I began studying for a degree in Herbal Medicine at the University of Lincoln. This involved studying anatomy & physiology, pathophysiology, health psychology, clinical diagnostics, differential diagnosis, nutrition and herb-drug interactions.

I graduated in 2013 with a First Class BSc Hons degree, this means that I'm able to treat patients and integrate herbal medicine safely alongside conventional medicines.

After graduating I returned back into the world of work, where I was able to to further develop my experience of working with local communities and subsequently young people with learning disabilities and their families. I then decided to cycle my way to Norway and following that, spent a month on a herb farm in Portugal under the guidance of the wonderful Maureen Robertson who founded the renowned Scottish School of Herbal Medicine. Here I learnt how plants can teach us a thing or two by us just tuning in to them, slowing down and observing the plants closely enough to understand and interpret their therapeutic offerings. It was in Portugal that I realised that all I wanted to do was to spread the word of plants! So I returned home to set up Fenton's Herbology!

My main passion is to get everyone using plants as medicine, encouraging and empowering you to incorporate plants in to your daily diet and health and well-being routines.

I want you to have the confidence to be able to treat common ailments using plants, thus giving you more power and knowledge over your own health!
